Chris Orchard is senior communications associate at The Right Question Institute. He helps develop and implement the organization’s communications goals and tell stories about the institute’s work and impact.
Chris began working with RQI as a freelancer in 2015, and he has also produced marketing and communications content for EF Education First, the City of Somerville, Massachusetts, and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Previously, as a community journalist, he served as editor of Somerville Patch, a local news website formerly owned by AOL. His journalism has also appeared in South End News, Bay Windows, Huffington Post, AOL.com, Allston-Brighton TAB, Dover-Sherborn Press, Inside Lincoln Park, Inside, bostonherald.com, and artandculture.com. He has also worked for ABC News.
Chris earned an M.A. (with distinction) in media and communications from City, University of London. He has a B.A. from Middlebury College, where he graduated cum laude with a double major in history and Spanish. He lived in Switzerland for three years and spent another three in London, where he volunteered once a week as an administrative assistant with the British Red Cross Refugee Support Service.
