In this video, Right Question Institute (RQI) Co-Director Luz Santana shares her thoughts and insights about RQI’s exciting work on school-family partnership and the newly published book she authored with Dan Rothstein and Agnes Bain, Partnering with Parents to Ask the Right Questions (ASCD 2016).
Discussing the Right Question Strategy and how it can be a resource for educators and organizations working with families, Luz shares that, “This strategy is strength based and its core components include developing the ability to ask better questions, developing the ability to participate effectively in decisions, and provide a model for effective parents’ participation… We are offering a new way of working with families that can greatly enhance the interactions between educators and families, build relationships, and eventually partnerships.”
