I think it helps us build higher level questions. When we go over our questions and try to make them better, it helps us think. The questions help us dig deeper and go beyond basic facts and we develop questions that give us more than yes or no answers.
The tool asks why and really builds a sense of confidence, responsibility, and collaboration among adult learners. Especially for refugees and immigrants who are often told what to do by authorities — this tool supports them to make their own decisions and teaches them that their decisions are important and valid.
